Cocker Spaniels/Cocker Spaniel puffy eye

Question
our six month cocker spaniel has in a matter of hours developed a puffy and white ozzing eye.  This is on the inside corner of her eye and the swelling is beginning to cover her eye.  It is only in one eye.  She has the normal "runny" eyes that I have been told cocker's have.  Do you have any suggestions until I can get her to a vet in the morning?

Answer
Sorry but I didn't get this until this morning.  Glad you're off to the vet.  It is not normal for a cocker to have runny eyes and indicates an allergy.  But what you're describing sounds like an injury.

Hopefully the vet will help but if her eyes continue to run an antihistimine trial may well help.
I can give you products & correct dosages.
