Question
my male cocker spaniel dog has not developed testicals at the age of 5 months. my vet says he will not develop any more now. is that true?. Upto what age can they develop testicals

Answer
Your dog does have testicles but they haven't descended.  He should be neutered but the surgery is a bit more extensive than a regular neuter.  Undescended testicles are very prone to cancer in later life so this is definitely something that should be done.  I'd wait on this a few months and ask your vet for a referral to a Board Certified Surgeon.

Health, nutrition, training. Please note: I used to highly recommend Innova products but, unfortunately, as with Canidae, they have sold out to Proctor & Gamble. This guarantees lower quality to a dangerous point so I will no longer be advising anyone to buy it.
