Cocker Spaniels/1yr old cocker, jumping up

Question
hello, you helped me with advice several months ago with my black cocker who is now 1yr old, she is quite obedient and is adorable, but will keep jumping up to the worktop, she is very curious and i believe this is why she does it, she gets down if i say "down "but will then get up again after a short time. Also she is very sociable and loves people, but again she jumps up, she is so excited, we have tried ignoring her, turning our backs to her, and trying to get her to sit (which normally she will do immediately if requested ), all to no avail, we have tried these things over the past 9 months that we have had her and i am getting worried as she is getting older now that it is going to get more and more difficult to stop her. Could you please give me some advice. thank you

Answer
Go to the supermarket and get a plastic spray bottle.  Fill with tepid water.  Test that it's on "mist" and not a hard stream of water.

When she jumps up say NO and spritz her in the face.  No other conversation.  No scolding.

The message is simple - You do that and this happens.

They hate this and very quickly all you'll have to do is say NO and show her the bottle.
