Question
My Flavia machine is on its last legs, and rather than simply replace it, I'd love
your opinion on the best single-serve machine.  To us, Flavia coffee is pretty
good.  Do you agree?  That said, we love the convenience of fresh-brewed
coffee (and tea) one cup at a time.  What machine would you buy if you had
the opportunity?  A T-cup machine?  K-cup?  A pod machine?  Any specific
brands, models, and prices would be most welcome.  Thanks.

Answer
Hi Roger,

Sorry to hear the situation about your Flavia machine, but at the same time, I am excited for you at the prospect of getting a new coffee maker!

Let's just say that I am more into the intense flavor of Robusta, so flavia is "not my cup of coffee"!:)

Yes, I feel that if you want gourmet coffee with a push of button, then single serve coffee maker is the way to go! If you asked me which machine I would choose, I would definitely pick up a Tassimo that uses the T-disc.

Until today, I am still fascinated with its T-disc reader that can brew each T-disc according to the code. And if you can wait for a few more months, in September, they are launching a new Tassimo, with enhanced features...

If you cannot wait, this current Tassimo by Braun is just as good, I believe the retailing price should be between $150 to $200.

Hope this helps...

Ebenezer

PS: Recently, I managed to get free coffee in office perpetually, I have written snippets of it in http://www.oncoffeemakers.com/free-coffee.html
