Question
The roll was put aside years ago do I have to look at each coin?

Question -
Bicentenial 1776-1976 quarter roll, any value?
Answer -
Hello Dor,

The going rate for the roll is $13 to $15 for a uncirculated roll.

It does not sound like much but it is 30% to 50% over the face value. This is an example of how tight the coin market is.

If the coins are worn or scratched they are usually good for face value only. They ran the design for two consecutive years. This left many new rolls being put away.

Answer
Hello Again,

Unless you already know the coins have never been circulated yoou should look through them all. They might even be a mixed roll, or have a silver on stuck iin there you never know.
Just use some care and if they are in good condition bring them to a show for sale.
