Question
I have this coin that looks like a penny but there aint no licoln on it. there is the number 1 on it and 8 stars below that and it says "C.J. Downs on the front of it.
On the back it says on the top "In Trade only" with the number 1 below it and it has like a triangle in the center with the word "trade system" in cursiff hand writing and on the bottom it says "Pat APR 7, 1914.
Can you tell me what this is and how much it is worth?

Answer
Hi We,
Sorry I can't tell you what it's worth but I can tell you that it isn't a war token, it was a trade token.  These were popular being used as change amongst merchants when small change was not available.
You need to find someone who is knowledgable about Trade tokens.
