Question
Dear Jim Lawniczak, I have three coins that my father gave me sometime ago.  One of them is in EF - Extra Fine condition.  I am wondering what would be the approximate value of the coin?  It's truly a beautiful coin and I just love looking at it.  It doesn't look silver, it looks like it's a brass Morgan Coin

Answer
Suzette, sorry I can't visualize what you have.  The Morgan dollar (still made through 1921) was silver.  So if you have a brass one, it is a replica.  There were quite a few real 1921 Morgan dollars so that I can't imagine a replica would have much value.  Try going to www.ebay.com and doing a search for 1921 dollar or 1921 Morgan dollar and see what comes up and compare it to what you have.  If your 1921 dollar is real, it would have mostly silver content value, Jim Lawniczak
