Question
My daughter has a 1925 peace dollar she found. She just wanted to know how much it could be worth also on the coin it says "In God We Trvst" is that normal. Thanks

Answer
Hello Jamie,

The coin is named for the eagle reverse resting on a rock with the word PEACE below. Most of our coins have the Eagle ready for war or Heraldic Design.  The mint Mark will be on the reverse (back) of the coin between the rays below the letter "0" in the word ONE (if there is a Mint Mark at all). The D, S marks are similar in value.
The letter U was not in the ancient alphabet and V was always used in its place. The Classic spelling of TRVST is correct on the coin. The Medalic artist chose the Older Spelling for stylistic purposes.

The 1925 no mint mark PEACE DOLLAR Coin varies in price from $12.00 in grade-8  to $17.00  dollars in grade-50. Where as the S mint coins may retail up to $30.00 in circulated grades for this year but it is priced almost the same as the Philadelphia coin in lower grades.

If the coins are Uncirculated (Mint State grades 62 to 70) they sell for more.
