Question
I have a 1935 dollar bill and it is in kinda good condition. The color has not faded and you can make out everythiing really good. It has just been through a couple of hands. I just want to know how much it is worth. Thanks

Answer
Casey, I'm not really an expert on bills but I do have a retail price list, although it's a bit old so no longer up to date -- let me check it and see -- Most of the 1935 silver certificates (ist that what it is) sell for $4-$10 in pretty decent circulated condition and $10 to $30 in uncirculated.  There are a couple more valuable -- a 1935 star (I think this would have a star in the numbers) for $90 or so and a 1935B (whatever that is) for $60.  Remember these are retail prices that the dealers want to sell to you for.

You may want to go to www.ebay.com and do a search for 1935 dollar and see what is selling and see if any are stars or "B"s or to www.google.com and do a similar search and try likewise, hope this helps, Jim Lawniczak
