How ya doing? I have a 1942 penny with king george on the back, I know its only a penny but apperently it could be worth up to 1400 bucks or something... So i was told... Thought i'd make sure... Thanks.

Hello John,  

I cannot answer accurately for these foreign coins they are not my field. The only US coin like this was the 1943 copper cent. This is a British or Canadain coin.

Most of them are common and contain no precious metal. Your library will have them listed in "Catalog of World Coins".
