Question
I have one of these 1943 quarters, the front and back edges are worn smooth, the engravings around the coin are almost worn off. I cannot find a D or S or anything else other than what it should say. How can i go about finding out which type of quarter I have? Thanks.

Answer
Hi Melody,
What do you mean by "one of these 1943 quarters"?  Quarters from 1943 are silver and as such are traded for their silver value once they have been circulated.  Currently, that value is $2.25
