Question
i have a 1943 penny but cant tell what the letter is so how do i go about finding out if it is a valuable one and how much it is worth if it is valuable?

Answer
Hi Jessie, the letter is not important.  What is important is what it is made of.  In 1943, the pennies were made from steel that was coated with zinc.  These are common and worth a few cents each.  However, there were some errors where the coin was made from copper, like a regular penny.  If that is the case, it is worth $10,000 and up.
See if it sticks to a magnet, if it does, it is steel.
