Coin and Paper Money Collecting/1943D US penny

Question
I saw on a site from 2005 someone named Lisa asked you about a 1943D penny with what she saw as a small D in in a circle on the back lower middle of the coin.  Sounds like the one I have.  I can try to take a picture but it is so small I don't know if it will be clear to see.   Thanks.  Virginia

Question -
My 1943D Cent is one with the 4 small over the D.  On the reverse side near the bottom there appears to be a small circle of a goldish color with a mark I have not yet identified.  Maybe someone marked or ? I am curious.  Thanks.

Answer -
Hi Virginia,
I am not sure what you are asking.  Please rephrase your question.

Answer
Hello Virginia,
It sound like what you have is a coin that was counterstamped after it left the US Mint.  The question I have is the mark in the coin or raised?  If it is raised, that's a whole new ballgame sinc ethat is very hard to do outside the mint.
