Coin and Paper Money Collecting/1943leadpennies

Question
Are 1943 lead pennies of any value other than one
cent?

Answer
Hello, Marilyn, actually the 1943 cents were made of zinc coated steel, not lead.  If they are in really pristine condition as made, they can be worth a dollar or two, perhaps even up to $10 or so if in really great condition.  However, the usual pieces that have seen wear will sell for a couple cents to a nickel.  There were quite a lot of these made.  Hope this helps, Jim Lawniczak
