Question

silver certificates
Papa, I was just wondering if you happened to know what these bills might be worth, in excellent condition.  I have 4 in sequence, from P_36138310_A - 13_A.  They were my father's but I have no idea where he got them.

Answer
Hello Rod,

The main Grades are FINE, EXTRA FINE and CRISP UNCIRCULATED. I am guessing yours are Uncirculated. They are still plentiful and available to collectors and this keeps the price low.

For One Dollar Silver certificates 1957-B notes to my knowledge these sell for only $1 to $3 dollars over the face value for individual notes. Since they are in sequential order you may get a little more selling them as a set. A dealer will give you less. It may be worth hanging on to them and getting more in the future.
