Coin and Paper Money Collecting/1964 PENNEY / KENNEDY STAMP

Question
As I read on this last message , these pennies were just novelties? I recently found one with the Kennedy head stamped . Date of penney was 1964.

Answer
Yes, Don, these were novelties, I thought most were made in the 70s and 80s.  I wonder if someone used 1964 cents later in order to match up with the Kennedy half dollar; or if the one you had was really made in 1964.  We'll probably never know.  Try a search at www.ebay.com for Kennedy on cent; Kennedy on penny; stamped cent; stamped penny (etc.) and you may see some like this for sale, Jim Lawniczak
