Question
hi
I have a 1968 penny with a stamped(obviosly after the fact) callout bubble coming out of Ab's mouth saying "war or peace"
has this been seen before?
is it worth anything or just a token of the viet nam war?
it is very clear stamp
thanks

Answer
Hello Rick, you are right, this was stamped after the cent was made at the mint.  There have been many such novelty pieces made and sold as such -- often you see a pipe (Lincoln smoking a pipe), or a small picture of JFK, the outline of a state, etc.  This sounds like something made probably around the time of the Vietnam war.  It would have novelty value only (even if it were extremely rare and sought after, anyone could easily make more).  Hope this helps, Jim Lawniczak
