Question
Jim, i have a 1974 penny with a Washington State outline with WA in the middle on this pemnny on the right of lincoln. Any anwers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated     Thanks, Taylor

Answer
In the 70s many novelty pieces were made by stamping things on cents.  Kennedy was one, but also each state was stamped on, with its P.O. abbreviation.  They were sold as novelties and really have no resale value today.

Go to www.ebay.com and do a search for stamped cent, stamped penny,or similar variations, and you'll almost certainly see some of these novelty items for sale (if not now, shortly). Right now, you'll see cents stamped with masonic symbols.
