Question
i have 1975 us penny that has the front and back stamped on one side and just the back on the other.penny still has a nice copper color. do you know the going value for a penny like this? was this common for this year?
Most likely this was done after the coin left the mint. It would need to be examined first-hand by an expert to determine this.
Try checking www.coinshows.com or www.coinworld.com to see if there is an upcoming local coin show where you can take the coin to be examined.
