Question
Hi, I am trying to locate silver dollar for 1985 to no avail.  Giving all my children silver dollars uncirulated for the year they were born.  I have only one left to locate and cannot find anywhere.  I do not even know what the coin is called for that year.  Could you please help as I know very little about coins..

Hi Susan,

The silver dollars you are talking abouit are called silver eagles and they started being minted in 1986.  There were no silver dollars before that for the 70's and 80's so you might have to find another coin for them from their birth year
