Question
I HAVE A 2 HEADED 1968D LINCOLN PENNY I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THIS WAS A NOVELTY ITEM OR IF POSSIBLE A STRIKE ERROR AND VALUE IT IS IN VG SHAPE THANK YOU

Answer
Hello, Alan, the most likely explanation is that it is a magician's novelty item -- made to help in magic tricks.  If so, two coins would have been carved out and then put together, and you should see a seam on the edge where they came together.  It is remotely possible that the item was a mint error (probably would have had to be an "intentional" one by a mint employee).  An expert would have to authenticate it if that is the case, Jim Lawniczak
