Question
I have a 1928 G series two dollar bill and was wondering if you know how much it is worth?  Thank You

Answer
Hello Regina,

This should be a United States Note. It is written in the ribbon above the portrait of Jefferson. It should also have red printing and seal.
They were printed until about 1952 and should be signed by Clark and Snyder.

Only after the grade is determined can you use a price guide, or can it be properly appraised.

The main Grades are FINE,  EXTRA FINE and CRISP UNCIRCULATED.

For this 1928-G note it usually sells for only $3 over the face value in Fine Grade to $20 dollars over the face value in Crisp Uncirculated grade. A dealer will give you less. It may be worth more in the future.
Or if there is a star asterisk ' * ' in the serial number it is more valuable
And for an error not the more drastic the error the more over this price it sells for.
