Question
i have 2 $1 silver certificates. both are from the year 1935. but one is a series D 1935 with a small blue star. and the other is a series B 1935. both are in mint condition. been kept in a plastic sleeve. could you tell me there value?

Answer
Hello Lisa,

A one dollar silver certificate from this series in circulated condition sells only from 1 to 4 dollars above face value.

The main Grades are FINE,  EXTRA FINE and CRISP UNCIRCULATED.

Your note retails from $2 to $3 more than face value. Some have the Motto IN GOD WE TRUST and some do not.

Crisp uncirculated star Notes are selling from $10 to $30 dollars each.
Sorry if this is not what you expected. Take a look at  "  http://www.sammler.com/coins/certificates.htm "   for more information.
