Question
DO YOU HAVE ANY INFO ON THIS COIN FROM ICELAND?

Answer
Gary, it appears that this was a U.S. mint commemorative coin struck for Iceland.  It commemorated the "millennium of the New World's discovery by the Viking Leif Ericson.  Go to the U.S. Mint website:

http://www.usmint.gov/mint_programs/commemoratives/index.cfm?flash=yes&action=Er...

for more information.  500,000 U.S. silver dollar pieces were made; and 150,000 silver 1000 Kronur were made for Iceland.

Go to www.ebay.com and do a search for 2000 Ericson commemorative, and you'll see a couple for sale and the prices.
