Coin and Paper Money Collecting/2004 dime

Question
I have a 2004 dime that has a goldish look to it. Is this anything significant?

Answer
Hi Bill,
You need to have the coin looked at.  It could be tarnish or a copper/bronze wash that is used on teh new dollar coins.  Physical inspection is required.
You can submit the coin to an authentification service such as PCGS, NGC or ANACS
Anacs is probably your best bet since they deal with a lot of error coins and would know what the deal is.
They are associated with the American Numismatic Association and are listed on the web
