Question
It seems nickels are a pretty popular question for you.
I've come across a 2006 nickel that has a full face view instead of a profile. Is it a new version or a mistake?

Answer
Lana, it was an intentional design change by the U.S. Mint.  Go to

http://www.usmint.gov/mint_programs/nickel/index.cfm?flash=yes&action=returnToMo...

to see what the U.S. Mint has to say about the 2006 nickel.  I'm sure their site has more information if you go through it, Jim Lawniczak
