Coin and Paper Money Collecting/2006Penny

Question
QUESTION: I have a 2006 penny with no marking as to who minted it.  Who would have minted it with no mark?

ANSWER: Matt, there is no way of telling since Philadelphia Coins bear the P mintmark, Denver coins have D and San Francisco has S.  I would say we can rule out S, San Francisco is for Proof Coins.
So it's either P or D.  Probably which ever mint you live closest to.

QUESTION: Would it be worth anything,or is it just a common fluke?

Answer
It could be worth some money.  It would have to be authenticated which costs about $35, probably what the coin would be worth.
If you want to send it to me for inspection and offer,
