Question
I HAVE A GOLD COIN FROM PERU AND IT SAYS UN SOL ON IT AND ITS FROM 1891 IN MINT CONDITION. I WANT TO KNOW HOW MUCH THAT MIGHT BE WORTH?

Answer
Raul, there have been quite a few instances of counterfeiting of gold coins.  Thus, you must have an expert review your coin to be sure it is genuine.  Try going to www.ebay.com and doing a search for 1891 Peru gold coin.  See if anything like what you have comes up for sale.  If nothing today, try back in a week or so.  Ebay is very active.  Jim Lawniczak
