Question
PAPAJACK,
THANK YOU FOR YOUR QUICK RESPONSE TO MY INCOMPLETE QUESTION.
I APOLOGIZE FOR MY LACK OF KNOWLEDGE.
i HAVE A U.S. 1986 CENTENNIAL 2 COIN LIBERTY PROOF SET.
ONE COIN IS A SILVER DOLLAR, THE OTHER IS ONE HALF DOLLAR.
THE PROOF SET IS IN THE ORIGINAL BOX WITH ALL THE PAPER WORK.
I ALSO HAVE A U.S. 1986 ONE DOLLAR, AMERICAN EAGLE, ONE OUNCE SILVER BULLION PROOF SET IN ITS ORIGINAL BOX WITH ALL THE PAPERWORK.
WOULD LIKE AN IDEA AS TO THE RANGE OF WHAT THE VALUE IS.
THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR VALUED TIME.
MIKE

Answer
Hello Mike,

No Apology is needed; I should have guessed it was the modern set.

I believe this is the 1986 Statue of Liberty Set. Made for the Centennial of the Statue of Liberty. If it is not please write me again.
It was released in different versions at the time. For the 2 coin sets there was one with an Uncirculated Silver dollar and a nickel clad half dollar, as well as a Proof 90% silver dollar and a Proof Clad Half.
Both are listed retail for $15 to $20 in the catalogs.

This was the first year of the Silver Eagle production. The Proof One ounce is listed for $32 to $40 retail.

Thank You and Good Luck
