Question
i have a georgivs v 1936 one penny coin is it worth anything

Answer
Sandy, value depends a great deal on condition -- and there is nothing you can do to improve condition, if you try you'll only ruin your coin.  Also, I'm not sure if your penny is English, Canadian or another commonwealth nations.  Try going to www.ebay.com and doing a search for what you have -- say 1936 English penny; and see what is being sold and what condition it is in (there'll almost always be a picture) and what the asking and offered prices are, Jim Lawniczak
