Question
i have a pure silver liberty dollar made in 1921. it is in very good condition. i do not know where it was minted though. could you give me an estimate on how much it could be worth?

Answer
Hello Myles,

In coin description terms "Very Good condition" is only a grade of 8 on the scale which is low meaning the coin is worn.
If you think its state of preservation is higher it is assigned a higher grade and has higher value.

This Year came in two types, The Morgan dollar and the Peace Dollar.
Almost anyone who collects is willing to buy the 1921 PEACE type Dollar. If it has never been cleaned or damaged it is a one year type coin and a great collectable.
The PEACE type 1921 dollars will sell to collectors from $25 to $90 dollars in circulated grades but less to dealers.
This is a very common year for Morgan dollar production.  For the Morgan Type (an Eagle with spread wings on the back), they are plentiful in all grades and if very, very worn sell for the silver value only.
The Morgan type sell to collectors for $10 to $15 dollars if circulated and less to dealers.

If there any more information you require on this question just ask.

Thank You and Good Luck
