Question
I have a 1970 lincoln penny that I believe is struck on a dime planchet (a bit smaller, thinner, is silver with copper colored sliver in center) I would like to know something about it. Rarity, worth, who/where to send it to have it appraised? Thank you

Answer
Hi Suzanne,
I have handled many of these coins from various yeras.  They trade in the $100-$300 range depending upon year and condition.
If you would like to send it to me for an offer, please email me at JoeHylas@aol.com
