Coin and Paper Money Collecting/state penny collection

Question
I also have a framed complete collection of the "state pennies" all dated 1976.  They are all in good to better condition and we don't touch them.  Is it worth spending the money to have them nicely framed?  Also, are they saleable?  Thank you.

Answer
Malcolm, I take it these are the pieces where the maps and two postal letters or each state.  If that's the case, those were novelty items, sold for around 99 cents a piece back in 1976, but I don't think you could find a buyer at that price today.  You ask, is it worth spending the money to have them nicely framed.  If doing that would give you something you would enjoy, and could hang up in your house, like a painting, you would have to decide if it was worth the money.  If you are asking whether you could make a profit at some point by selling the set in a nice frame some later date, I would think that you would not be able to.   But then again, you never know what someone else might want to have.  Jim Lawniczak
