Question
hey, I will know more about the three pence from year 1944!How expensive?? I ask from Germany

Answer
James, I am not an expert on non-US coins, but I have a world catalog.  Problem is that the values are way out of date.  I assume you mean Great Brittain 1944 3 pence -- my book shows that was a silver coin, with a mintage of just over 2 million that year, so not terribly rare.  Its values in 1990 when my book came out ranged from $3 to $50, so it won't be a terribly expensive piece, unless uncirculated.  Try going to www.ebay.com and doing a search for 3 pence great brittain and see what comes up.  Use your year 1944 too and see if anyone is selling one on ebay.  Try similar searches at www.google.com and you should start to get an idea of current pricing, Jim Lawniczak
