Question
Joe, I have a 1879S Morgan Silver Dollar with 7 tailfeathers.  Is there a difference in price for the 7 tailfeathers verus the 8 tailfeathers>

Answer
Hi Irene,

When it comes to 1879-S Morgans, the only price differentiation is when the 1879-S has the reverse of the 1878, that being a concave breast as opposed to the rounded breast.
1878 Morgans which come with 7 and 8, and 7 over 8 tailfeathers are worth substantially more.
