Question
Sir, I am befuddled I have had this coin now for 5 years and have not been able to find any other like it. It is a 2000 Sacagawea-P Gold Dollar Coin just like all the rest excepts the "face" of the coin is Painted. Ive seen pictures of the necklace pieces they have and this is nothing like it. There are no coin dealers where i live or else I would take it there. Sacagawea and her baby are colored seh has brown hair and a reb garment which is holding her baby. Once again it is minted in 2000and has the letter P I'm sure its not worth anythign more than a dollar but I am curious at your convenience if you could please find some information out for me thank you so much. Have a good day. Oorah USMC

Answer
Hello Brandon,

There are a number of companies that "enamel" coins of different denominations.  They do this merely as a marketing angle.

Usually, these are offered on home shopping shows on late night TV.

As a dealer, we view these simply a nice coins but they have no value above the face value.
