Question
In the Red Book it refers to 2000P series in regards to Presentation Finish vs. Boldly Detailed Tail Feathers, can you explain this in detail as to what to look for, the Red Book shows no pictures or explanations.  Thanks, Trish

Answer
Hi Trish,
I do know that there were a few different finishes in 2000.  Some (5,000) were used as payment to the designer of the coin, Glenda Goodacre.  Another batch were used in a promotion for Cheerios cereal. The Cheerios Dollars are quite scarce.
However, I have not seen any of the coins you are referring to.  I am sure that this refers to die varieties but I could not tell you what the differences are.  My expertise is more aligned with "non-modern" coinage.
But don't give up.  I would bet that if you do a google search, you will find your answer.

Good Luck
