Question
QUESTION: I have three one dollar bills in sequence printed in 1957, in mint condition. but the middle number numbered bill has no markings on the back. What would be the value of these.

         Thanks harry

ANSWER: Hello Harry,

Are you saying that the back of one one the notes is blank?
If so, it is hard to believe that it is a genuine error.  I say this because notes are printed in sheets of 32 and if the back is missing from one note it would be missing from all 32.

The only other possibility is that a scrap of paper was over the area to be printed, and received the ink.  I have never heard of such an error, however, anything is possible.

If I have misinterpreted what it is you have, please let me know and I will try to help you further.

QUESTION: I was mistaken on the date, it was series 1977. My Uncle received these from his saving & loan. They are numbered D41820263B-D41820264B-&D41820265B Federal Reserve Note. Yes the middle note has no markings on the back.

         Thanks Harry

ANSWER: Hi Harry,
It is certainly an unusual error.  Keeping the sequential numbers with the rror note was a wise move, is there anything missing from the other notes?  When you say "no markings" are you saying that there is no printing at all?
I don't do much with error currency, but I could certainly refer you to some one who might be interested in the notes should you want to sell them

QUESTION: Hi Joe,
The other two bills are fine, just the middle bill has no printing. My uncle got them brand new, and put them away. I received them in 1996

         Thanks Harry

Answer
Hi Harry,

Personally, I would have them certified by PMG  It will mean laying out some money and taking 4-6 weeks but it may pay in the long run.

I think just as they are , you would probably net $100 for the 3 notes.
