Question
i would like to know what is brilliant satin proof. I have a 1936 wheat penny and would like to know if this penny is one.

Answer
A proof is a special method of manufacture meant for collectors entirely unlike a business strike, which is a coin meant for commerce. The coin would be very well struck up, having all the detail of the design, have flat rims with sharp edges, and likely no marks on the coin, that is no wear, scratches, bumps of any kind. A photo would help. nsberman@msn.com
