Question
Are coins from the New Orleans mint valuable? I have a Morgan silver dollar dated 1886 with mint mark "O". It is sealed in a clear plastic case. It seems to have very little wear (looking at coin thru the case).

Hello Lola,

1886-O Morgan Dollars are one of the rarer dates from the New Orleans mint.
If the coin grades Almost Uncirculated, it is worth about $100 however, the next grade lower brings that value to about $23.
