Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Mis-struck 200 U.S. quarter, South Carolina

Question
Hello, I have a mis-struck (spelling?) quarter from 2000 with South Carolina on the back and George Washington on the front.  The "edge" or "margin" is wider on the left side than the right side.  It is visible on the front, and very visible and seems to have an even bigger margin of error on the back.  The quarter itself is in good condition.  Any idea at all how much this is worth and where to sell it? Thanks so much
J.C.

Answer
Hi Jodi,

A lot has to do with how much it is struck off-center.  This is usually gauged in degrees, such as 30% off center or 50% off center.

Check on eBay for off-center statehood quarters.  It doesn't necessarily have to be the SC quarter, any statehood quarter would give you an idea of the value.

Good luck and please let me know what you find out!
