Coin and Paper Money Collecting/2-headed nickel

Question
I found a two headed nickel - one side is dated 1987 and one side is 1988.  Is this a valuable coin and worth how much?

Answer
Penny, this is almost certainly a magician's novelty coin -- made to help in magic tricks.  It is put together by hollowing out the tail side of both nickels and putting them together.  When that is done, there should be a seam on the edge that you can see.  If you go to www.ebay.com and do a search for magician coin or two headed coin (etc) you should see some for sale.  Jim Lawniczak
