Question
I purchased a roll of 2002 and 2006 silver eagles. The 2006 Silver eagles are considerably thicker, 1 coin worths thicker, but both tubes add up to 20 coins. This is not optically correct my 2006's ARE 1 coin per roll larger than my 2002's, or are my 02's thinner? please help!!!

Answer
Hi Max,
My bet is that the rims are slightly taller, hence the 20 coins as a stack are taller.
I have seen this in past years where the 20 coins barely fit in the tube.
Remember that a slight difference compounded by 20 coins adds up.
