Question
Joe, recently I noticed a coin jacket for all the state quarters and I believe I counted in the vicinity of 90 slots. Since there are only 50 states I realize some staes would have been produced at several mints. Can you tell me or point me toward some information that would explain which state quarters are produced at which mints ? Also do you think it is worthwhile to collect these ?

Answer
Hi Mike,
All of the state quarters were produced at Philadelphia AND Denver, for circulating coinage.  Proof Coins were produced at San Francisco, and in 2 varieties, clad and silver.
So technically, a COMPLETE Set would have 200 quarters.  The mint has announced that there will be an eleventh year, with 5 quarters produced to account for the 5 US territories.
