Question
My father passed away on 2/5/08,and was a vet from WWII. I found a box full of coins from Germany,Poland,Russia,Belgium and a few other countries that he was in.The German coins all have the SS on them. Could you please let me know if any of these coins could be valuable

Answer
Hi Dan,
First off, I am sorry for your loss.

Sort the coins by picking out the silver ones and any that have SS emblems on them.  Those are the ones with value.  You can check them on eBay for current values.
The others are normally sold by the pound and on eBay they fetch about $10 per lb.
