Question
A half dollar on the back side the word Independence appears like this
Indepe   ence  it has a space and no letter n . It may have a faint image of the n.
There is about 4 letter spaces between the  e and the e . Is it worth any more
than .50

Bob,

Without seeing the coin, I can only assume the missing letter is due to the normal cause -- a foreign substance (like machine grease) in the die, preventing the full strike of the coin.

Collector interest is low -- value maybe $2.00
