Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Completely blank penny

Question
Was just looking through my change today, and found I had a completely blank penny, only the edge had been made, then no face, no amount, nothing.  So just wondering what a penny like this is worth?

Answer
Matt, these unstruck planchets sometimes do sneak through the minting process and come out in bags.  If I remember right, they were selling in the range of a few dollars, say up to $5.  But to get a view of the current market, go to www.ebay.com and do a search for unstruck planchet, or cent planchet or penny planchet or maybe blank planchet and see what is currently being sold and at what price.  Try a similar search at www.google.com.   Remember that just because a coin dealer is selling something at $5, doesn't mean that she or he will be buying at $5.  Jim Lawniczak
