Question
i believe i havea real one ,can it be true, and how much is it worth

Answer
Hello, Larry, almost all the double headed (or double tailed) coins were made as magician's trick pieces.  It is done by hollowing out one side of the coin and inserting the same view (i.e., heads or tails) on the other from another coin.  The two pieces are then joined.  Thus, you would usually see a seam on the edge where the two pieces were joined together.  Look and see if that's the case with your piece.  Magician's pieces sell for a couple dollars (although that doesn't mean you can find a buyer at that price).  If by some small chance you have a legitimate mint made double headed piece (they are extremely rare), then you would indeed have a very valuable coin.  It would have to be authenticated by several experts though before anyone would consider buying it from you on that basis.  Hope this helped, Jim Lawniczak
