Dear Dan,
I have a 1885 Morgan without the imprint over the DO. I saw you offered to give someone else a value for theirs of a different year. Mine is in excellent condition - no scratches. I can send pics if you need them.

1885 is not considered a rare date for Morgan Dollars.

In lightly circulated condition, it's worth about $15.00

Uncirculated ones generally sell for $25 to $35

Higher grades of uncirculated sell for more, but first-hand inspection is required.
