Question
I have a penny that is 1993 it is not copper it does not stick to a magnet light weight like aluminum can you tell me any thing about this. D is the mint mark.

Answer
Hi John,

Since 1982, pennies have been made of copper plated zinc.  Chances are that you have one with no copper plating.
I suggest you go to NGCCoin.com
NGC is a certification service in Sarasota Florida.
They can authenticate the coin and make it more readily sellable.  They do charge a fee, somewhere around $30 total.

Good Luck and please let me know how it turns out.
